Description
Photo of lupine in rare red near Austin, Texas.
The Lupine
Lupine's fanlike leaves look like the fingers on a hand. They may look like peas, but don't be foolish
and try to eat one. They will make you
very sick! The Lupine is named after “Lupus,” the Latin word for wolf!
Bluebonnets are said to symbolize bravery, sacrifice, and admiration.
