Photo of Emerald Swallowtail taken at Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Original photo was processed as black and white after the butterflies were "selected" to be the only color in the photo. Then, the color butterflies image was merged into the original using Corel Paintshop.

Papilio palinurus, common name Emerald Swallowtail, Emerald Peacock, or Green-banded Peacock, is a butterfly of the genus Papilio belonging to the Papilionidae family. It is native to southeast Asia, but regularly kept in butterfly zoos around the world
