Roxy Theater
Originally, part of the Proctor and Marsh chain, the Roxy Theater opened as a movie theater in 1948, and closed in 1969. It then sat empty until the early-1990’s when it was purchased by the Muskogee Little Theater to use for plays, concerts, etc. It is the center of downtown Muskogee’s cultural activities. It still holds the ambiance and charm of a post-WWII era movie theater. Beautiful architecture, art deco glass and tile, fully restored original seats and neon signs make the theater as much of a destination as the shows inside. The Roxy holds theater-style live productions, musicals and family style movies.
