Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This is the work of artist Oskar J.W. Hansen. He was commissioned to create art for the project to honor and commemorate the building and completion of the Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam). His basic plan was accepted after a competition that was held in the early 1930s by the US Reclamation Service.
Celestial Postions, A Universal Calendar
The memorial is the centerpiece of Hansen's work, it consists of two winged sculptures. Surrounding the base is a terrazzo floor, inlaid with a star chart/celestial map. The chart preserves for future generations the exact date on which President Franklin D. Roosevelt dedicated the Dam. In the center of the floor are the important stars and features of the Polar region of the sky as they would appeared at 8:56pm 2.25 secs local apparent time on September...
