Veitch’s Blue' Echinops (also called small globe thistle) is a unique stand out in the full-sun garden. Showy, golf ball-shaped flowers are true blue. A hardy, low maintenance plant, 'Veitch's Blue' is a great choice for dry soils and low rainfall areas, becoming drought-tolerant after reaching maturity.

THis photograph is lovely - the colors and shapes of the florals work so nice in contrast to the blue jay! L/F
