Photo of "Our Lady of Rockies", a 90 foot statue built on the Continental Divide, looking down on Butte, Montana. It took six years to complete.
The base sits at an elevation of 8510 feet above sea level and 3500 feet above the mile high city of Butte. When the statue is lighted at night it is a spectacular sight to behold.
Sky texture created by Pamela Phelps was added to original photo. Thank you, Pamela!
Hi and welcome to my website! I live in Round Rock, Texas, which is north of Austin, Texas. I have sold images of Western art, pets and other animals, cityscapes, trains, travel pics, flowers and art deco images. I have been making my own greeting cards for a few years but I especially enjoy taking my original photos and merging with textures to form amazing digital artwork. **All images are original to, and sole ownership of Janette C. Boyd and may not be reproduced for any reason without written permission from the author.**

Thank you, Eva, for featuring this photo. It is a beautiful site to behold. We saw it in daylight on our way to Seattle and in the moonlight on our way back from Seattle. It is something to see.
