Red Rose for Mom
When I was a little girl everybody at church always wore a rose on Mother's Day. A red rose meant your mother was living and a white rose showed she had passed away. I remember going outside with Mama to pick a little red rose off the bush. Mama would carefully pin the pretty red rose to my Sunday dress with a straight pin. I was always glad that my rose was red.
