Description
Photo of Female Northern Cardinal in Winter taken from my backyard deck in Tulsa, Oklahoma. First texture of wrought iron gate with snow added using Corel Paintshop techniques of brushes and blending and then final texture by FAA Artist, Jai Johnson, called, "DT - Winter Collection -16" was added.
Featured by the following FAA Groups:
*Animal Photographs
*FAA Portraits - Bird
*Photograph Manipulation
*Winter Wonderland
*2 A Day Photos Turned into Paintings
*Premium FAA Artists
The Female Northern Cardinal sport a sharp crest and warm red accents. Cardinals don't migrate and they don't molt into a dull plumage, so they're still breathtaking in winter's snowy backyards. In summer, their sweet whistles are one of the first sounds of the morning.
